Children's Scholarship Program

Each year our Long Term Disability Plan Administrators, California Public Safety Administrators, Inc. donate four scholarships to the children of CAPF Plan Participants.

Scholarship distribution consists of $2,000 - four awards of $500 each.

High School Seniors

1 Scholarship available to Sophmores and Juniors in college

2016 Recipients

We are very pleased to announce the following four students have been awarded the CAPF Children’s Scholarships for 2016:

High School Recipients

Shelby Blackman, Vacaville Firefighters – Attending California State University, San Marcos, majoring in Nursing. 

Grant Nelson, Bakersfield City Firefighter's Union – Attending University of California, Santa Barbara, majoring in Biological Sciences. 

Bailey Perrizo, Orange County Fire Authority – Attending University of Oregon, majoring in Environmental Sciences.

College Recipients

Melissa Bradley, Alameda Firefighters Association #689 – Attending Arizona State University, majoring in Special Ed/Elementary Education..
