CAPF Benefit Facts |
Highest Coverage
The CAPF disability plan will cover up to 100% of your pre-disability
income (maximum of $9,000 per month) tax-free. Includes
Cost-of-Living benefits.
Lifetime Coverage
Non-industrial (off duty) disabilities have a lifetime continuous
benefit if you are unable to work in your current or any other type of
job again. Industrial (on duty) disabilities are covered up to age 65.
Cost of Living Adjustments
After the first 24 months of a non-industrial disability, your benefit
will increase by 4% per year through the 8th year of coverage.
Then benefits increase with CPI to age 65 and continue for life (tax
free)!
Death Benefits
$15,000
death benefit immediately payable in full to your chosen beneficiary. In
addition, six additional months of Plan benefits may be payable to your
dependent beneficiary under certain circumstances, as well.
